About MLPivot
MLPivot is a B2B software and data engineering company focused on designing, building, deploying and maintaining APIs for companies.
MLPivot builds APIs that turn company data, external data, business logic, machine learning models and AI systems into reliable services other software can use.
We are not a general software agency. The work is deliberately narrow: the API layer, and everything required to keep it running in production.
What we do
A customer usually already has something valuable — a database, a dataset, a spreadsheet that encodes years of judgement, a trained model, an internal tool, a process that works. What they need is a professional API layer so those capabilities can be used by their own applications, their customers, their partners or their internal systems.
That layer can be an API used internally, an API exposed to external clients, an API that becomes a commercial product in its own right, an API that serves a machine-learning model, an API that aggregates several external services, or the intelligence layer behind another company's SaaS product.
How we think about API work
Many developers can build a CRUD API. The harder and more valuable problem sits higher in the stack: combining data engineering, statistical modeling, machine learning and integration work so the API returns an answer rather than a row.
We also think a good supplier should be willing to say when something is unnecessary. Not every problem needs machine learning, and not every service needs to be real-time. Deterministic rules and conventional software are often more reliable, cheaper to run and easier to defend to an auditor.
What you can expect
- An architecture you can review and price before development starts.
- Security, validation, documentation and monitoring treated as part of the build.
- Honest scoping, including when a smaller prototype is the sensible first step.
- Support for your engineering team through their integration.
- Ongoing maintenance once the API is live, if you want it.
Working with us
Most engagements begin with a short discovery conversation about the business objective, the available data, the expected volume and what the API should return. From there we propose an approach, a scope and a price.
All enquiries come through the contact form, which reaches us directly.
